Dear Friend of the Jewish Home,

It's my great pleasure to share exciting news with you as we begin a new decade of care at the Jewish Home. After five years of planning and construction, Fountainview at Eisenberg Village will open next month. In this e–News, you'll read about the Open House and tours we are planning for January 31.

Also in this issue, you'll learn about two free Jewish Home support groups designed to provide valuable information and support to family members or other non–professionals caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's disease or related dementia.

In a new feature focusing on our remarkable residents, you'll meet a couple who met in Southern California when the world was at war more than a half century ago, and continue to bring joy to one another and to the lives of those around them.

Finally, it is my honor to be recognized with an appointment to the Board of the Aging Services of California. I look forward to an exchange of ideas that will benefit the seniors of our community and extend the Jewish Home's new model of comprehensive care to providers throughout the state and
the nation.
